Eco-church
It was great to welcome Revd Grace Thomas to St George's PPC meeting on 11th January as we discussed ways to become an Eco Church. We've already registered and started planning ways to achieve the Bronze Award as soon as we can. We're really excited about becoming more green and hope you're all on board with helping us achieve this mission.
Amy Hodcroft is going to be our very own Eco Champion; as a pupil at St George's Central Primary school she thoroughly enjoyed being an 'Eco Warrior' and part of the Eco Council.
Since meeting with Revd Grace, Amy has already worked on the initial survey and compiled a list of things we could do to achieve the Bronze Award and she already has the Silver and Gold Awards in her sights.
